Henna night - شب حنا

The henna night, also known as mehndi or شب حنا shabe henna, takes place before the wedding ceremony. Hands and feet of the bride are painted with henna. Un the traditional afghan henna night also the hand of the groom will be painted with henna in a round form and will be wraped with a henna wrap. The beginning of the henna paintig tooked place in Persia (Afghanistan and Iran). From there it spreaded to India, Pakistan, Arabian and Northern Africa. This colourful painting represents fertility and a good fate.
